![]() ![]() Fast forward today, i rely on NAS to do my synching backups and so far (touch wood) my data are all safe. Suddenly one day of attempting to backup via time machine, the hdd cannot be recognised by my mac, i was shocked and horrified! All 1TB of data cannot be retrieved nor read! I asked around how much will data recovery costs and I have to say: ITS EXPENSIVE. Here goes my story: Couple of years back, I have been relying on an old external hdd (brand shall not be revealed) to backup my mac for a couple of years. I tried to position the disk in different ways, and finally after hours of trying, i found a position where i can finally boot.
